I noticed a smallish lump on my dog's tummy, just where the ribs part. The dog's name is Lilly, she is 7 and a half years old, and she is not neutered. She might be due in season soon, has been off food a bit, and has had some runs but not always. She is otherwise normal and happy. The lump is under the skin, quite soft, moveable, and doesn't seem to bother her. Could it be a hernia or a fatty lump? What should I do?

Hi, Tiger seems to be back to normal. Should I take him to the vet for an appointment at 1:20, or should I start making a journal to gather information for the vet? It costs a lot of money, and I want to ensure the vet has enough information for an evaluation. What is your opinion? We live in Sherman Oaks, CA.

The vet prescribed Temaril-P for my dog, Susie, for 7 days, every 12 hours. It's day 4, and she is panting. I want to wean her off the medication. The bottle says to give 2 pills a day for 7 days and then stop, with no mention of weaning off. Can I just stop giving it to her?
