My husband picked up a 7-week-old puppy named Bella this morning. She was fine all day but started vomiting about an hour ago. My dog has an infection around his anus and testicular area. The vet prescribed Resorcin ointment and Chlorhexidine wash, but the infection looks worse today. Can I give my dog human Amox-Clav, which is 875mg, as an oral antibiotic? My dog is a 6-pound Yorkie.
