My 6-year-old dog, Bentley, woke up with an unstable back leg and difficulty standing or walking. He has been slow in his motions, had difficulty going up steps, and has been lying down all morning. He ate his favorite snack but not his regular food. His temperature is 102.6Ā°F. What could be wrong and what should I do?

My vet prescribed Omeprazole for my 20 lb dog who is on Clavacillin due to raised kidney levels and is now refusing food. I've been advised to give her 10 mg of Omeprazole twice a day for three days, but I can only find 20 mg OTC tablets. Can I split the tablets, and if so, which type is better to split, the coated or the orally disintegrating tablets?

Hello, my dog Graham, who is 8 years old, has a hard white spot/lump on his lower lip. It doesn't seem to cause him pain, but there's a slight wound opening on one edge that doesn't bleed. What could this be and what should I do?

I have a Peekapoo who has had diarrhea and vomiting for about 5 days now. I tried a bland diet of chicken and rice, and I gave him 2 doses of Pepto Bismol yesterday (6 hours apart), but today he still has diarrhea and heās starting to seem lethargic or tired. My vet's office is closed today. The last time he vomited was Fridayāit was white and foamy. He started obedience class and we gave him some steak Monday night as a treat during his class. He vomited Tuesday morning a few times, and then the diarrhea started. Heās a small dog and he usually vomits a lotājust a little bit, and then he swallows it, so we werenāt concerned, but itās been days now. His name is Aztec and heās 2 1/2 years old. Heās about 7 lbs, maybe a little less since he hasnāt been eating much this week. Our other dog, a Maltese, just started with vomiting and diarrhea todayāsheās about 6 lbs. Should I give her the same treatment?

My dog, Carrigan, may have a broken front right leg. He was injured yesterday evening when I accidentally backed over him with my car. He cannot put any weight on the leg and it looks unnatural. I have wrapped the leg in a bandage. What should I do, and can you help me make a splint without going to a vet due to financial constraints?

My golden doodle puppy, Piper, has diarrhea with blood. We noticed it this morning, and she had diarrhea in her crate, but the diarrhea itself was not bloody. Instead, her butt was bleeding, and we found a small amount of red jelly-like substance in the grass after she tried to poop. She is still acting normally, not lethargic, and has eaten and drunk water today. She hasn't eaten anything unusual that we know of, but she often gets into things. What could be causing this, and what should we do?
