My 6-year-old dog, Smokey, was diagnosed with leptospirosis three days ago and has been receiving treatment in the hospital, but his condition is worsening instead of improving. He was initially not eating, had vomiting, and now has issues with his liver, kidneys, and breathing. The vet is suggesting termination of treatment.
