My 6-year-old goldendoodle, Hamilton, had bloody diarrhea with mucus about 45 minutes ago. He's up to date on vaccinations, has no history of health issues, and is acting normally. He hasn't vomited or had any other symptoms. He has a habit of stealing food, so it's possible he ate some human food without knowing. Can I monitor him until the morning and then call our vet for advice, or is this an emergency?
