My 6-year-old pug has started peeing more frequently and having accidents in the house, regardless of how many times we take her out. She is also pooping in the house more often. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My small dog weighs only 8.5 lbs. He mopes around for a few days after treatment with Frontline Plus, and paces the floor when Advantix was used. Would it be better to only use the Frontline Plus every three months? He is never placed in a kennel, and really has no contact with other dogs.
