I gave my dog Simparica, a flea, tick, and heartworm pill, 7 days ago. Five hours after taking the pill, he became lethargic and started experiencing constant pain. He is eating, drinking, peeing, and pooping normally, but is in pain whenever he moves. What could be causing this reaction, and what steps should I take to help him?

My 3-year-old, 45-50 pound Mountain Cur dog ate about a half-inch of peppermint chapstick about 20 minutes ago and has thrown up once big, once medium, and several small times. What should I do to help him feel better, and how long might he continue to be sick?

My dog, Jasmine, was prescribed cephalexin and apoquel for a bacterial infection. After giving her the first doses around 6pm, she started vomiting within the hour. She's vomited 5 or 6 times, with the first vomit containing the cheese wrapped around the pill and the rest being foamy liquid. She hasn't eaten anything unusual and is almost 2 years old. What should I do?

Hello! The end of our dog's tail is extremely sensitive - it looks like the tip is dark and almost comes to a point. We trimmed the hair to see because she was very protective of the area and when we couldn’t get any closer we ran it under water and she screeched. She’s a bichon schitzu and is 7 years old. Aside from this screeching, have you noticed other behavioral changes in the dog? Does she appear to be in pain?
