My dog, Bandit, a 6-year-old chiweenie weighing 8 to 11 lbs, accidentally ingested a 50 meq potassium pill. He has not vomited since then. What should I do?

My 9-month-old dog, Bandit, started vomiting after playing. The first vomit was white and foamy, followed by ones that contained food, and the last two were solid white foam. He had been chewing on mulch sticks, which he hadn't had before. Is this normal, or should I be concerned and take him to a vet?
