I have a 2-year-old mixed breed Australian Shepherd named Q. He has been experiencing periodic coughing, especially after exercise, in the morning, upon waking up, or after drinking water. His nose is wet, and he has thick yellowish eye drainage. Additionally, we recently adopted a 12-week-old puppy named Blue who was neutered last Friday and has been experiencing diarrhea. What should I do to address these issues?

My dog chewed on a clove of garlic, but it doesn't look like he ate much/any, just chewed and spit it out. Do I need to be concerned? I've read mixed messages about garlic and the amount of garlic that is a problem.

My dog, Winnie, a 4-year-old Chihuahua mix, has been chewing on her paws, particularly between the pads on the front and back right, for about 2-3 months. The area is very red but not bleeding. She also drags her butt across the carpet. I don't know of any allergies, and she doesn't seem to itch anywhere else. What could be causing this, and what can I do to help her?

My dog, Bulma, a 2-year-old, has had a swollen mouth and tongue since early this morning. She also had diarrhea once and vomited three times between noon and 3pm. Could this be an allergic reaction or infection? If it's due to plants she might have eaten in the yard, will Benadryl still work? How much should I give her, and should I use the adult or children's formulation?

My dog, Elle, a 3-year-old Havanese, has a swollen and red vagina that she keeps licking. This started today. Her appetite is good, and she doesn't seem more tired than usual, but she is uncomfortable. I gave her an amoxicillin I had left over to help her sleep. She is fixed and takes Simparica once a month for flea and tick prevention. Is she having a hard time urinating? Are there any other medications or previous diseases I should know about?
