Hello, our dog ate some cookies with a chocolate coating that contained Hershey's powder, butter, and sugar. I don't know how much. He vomited last night about 6 to 8 times. The last one was a lot and threw up a lot of the undigested cookie with chocolate and oats. That is how I figured out what was wrong. Also, this was past the two-hour mark that I had been reading about when trying to figure out what to do. After that, I kept an eye on him through the night. Today he is pretty tired and doesn't really want to drink or eat. Has not vomited today. Tried to give him some white rice and also been giving him some Gatorade diluted with water via a straw. His pulse is about 84. He gets up to bark at the door, but not much of anything else. He weighs about 15 lbs. At this point, how long before it is out of his system and how long to know he is okay?
