My short-haired dog, Zeke, has raised hair spots with little red bumps, is sensitive in those areas, and has been scratching and shivering. He was recently groomed and is not on flea prevention. What could be causing this and what can I do to help him?

My 3-year-old Rottweiler, Hercules, jumped off my mother's 2nd story balcony a week ago. He was taken to the ER but due to high costs, no further treatment was provided. He is still in pain and using only 3 legs. I am concerned about internal injuries and cannot afford the X-rays. What should I do to help Hercules recover, and how can I tell if he has any internal or bone injuries?

My 4-month-old mini goldendoodle, Roxy, tested positive for an inactive form of Giardiasis and was given Panacure and Metranidozone. After stopping the medication 2-3 days ago, she still has soft, even liquid stools and strains when she poops. Could the medications cause this, or could she have ingested something causing a blockage? How can I determine if this is medication-related or due to ingestion of foreign objects?

My Shih Tzu, Mocha, was perfectly fine this morning but now has something in her eye preventing her from opening it. She is a happy and active dog but is not wanting to move much aside from going out to pee. Her stool and appetite are normal, and she is due for a check-up in a couple of months with all vaccinations and preventatives up to date. What can I do at home to help her while I get her to the vet?
