My 7-pound cavapoo puppy, Maisie, was diagnosed with giardia 8 days ago and completed a week of medication treatment, but she is still having diarrhea. She also ingested about an inch of twine yesterday, and there was blood in her stool this morning. Is the continued diarrhea normal after giardia treatment, and could the twine be causing the blood in her stool?
