My 7-pound Yorkie, Sweetie, who just turned 5, was boarded at the vet for 2 nights. After coming home, she had soft and very loose stools, messed in her crate, and is not eating. She had a bath and has been by my side all day. Can I give her an egg or chicken, and can dry food expire?

My dog, Toby, a 35-pound, three-year-old, consumed about 1/4 of an avocado, including the skin and flesh but not the pit. He ate it on a full stomach, about an hour and a half after his supper. My 8-month-old Toy Poodle, MeiMei, has had fishy breath since she arrived at 5 months old. She also has low muscle tone, an occasional hacking cough, itchy skin, and breathing issues.
