My 7-year-old Cocker Spaniel has a nose condition with cracked, broken skin, and a split in the center. He has been on steroid tabs and received multiple injections into the nose, but the condition keeps recurring. His coat is also in poor condition at the back to the tail area. My vet suggests it might be hormonal due to him only having one testicle. What are your views?
