My 7-year-old Collie is showing early signs of bloat: lethargy, increased gas, and a slightly bloated but warm and squishy belly. He has always been tender in the center of his back, which could be spondylosis, and he recently ate a small piece of honey crisp apple. He isn't gagging, retching, or vomiting, his gums are pink and moist, and he can eat, drink, and maintain his appetite. His stool is normal, and he doesn't react to belly pressing. What should I do?

My Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix, Hairy, suddenly became lethargic, fell over, and had a loss of bladder control. He then staggered and fell again, appearing disoriented. He is now resting but showing shallow breathing. Could this be a seizure, syncope, or abdominal obstruction due to his tendency to chew on various objects? He has an annual checkup scheduled but needs immediate attention.
