My 7-year-old male Vizsla has subcutaneous lumps that are firm, mobile, and nontender. The main one on the back of his neck waxes and wanes in size, and there has never been any drainage, pus, blood, or discharge from them. What could these lumps be, and what should I do about them?

My daughter and her partner have a dog each. His is a French Mastiff, 18 months old. As my daughter's pregnancy has come into its last trimester, the young dog, who pushes the other dog away when we pat him, has shown signs of naughtiness by peeing on the lounge furniture overnight. How do we stop this tendency of feeling threatened by an impending birth and also in sharing our affection with the other older dog?
