My 7-year-old spayed Corgi, Penny, has had a little bit of blood in her urine this morning. She has had UTIs in the past and is acting normally, eating and playing fine. She is not straining to pee but spends more time squatting than usual. What could be the cause and what should I do?

My dog has IBD and has never had diarrhea before. He is on prednisone, cerenia, omeprazole, and eats Purina HA vegetarian food. Last night, he was up every 2 hours to poop, which has not happened before. I have a call into my vet, but what medicines are applicable for diarrhea in dogs? Is there something they can give him so he feels better?
