My 9-year-old Airedale Terrier suddenly can't get up from a sitting/lying position, is lethargic, and panting. He walks when lifted but shows no pain in his back, hips, or legs. Blood tests show a slightly elevated white cell count, and he's been prescribed anti-inflammatory meds without improvement. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My 8-year-old male cocker spaniel was prescribed Triamcinolone, Ketoconazole, and Cefpodoxime for an ear infection. He has developed symptoms such as heavy panting, increased thirst and hunger, and house-soiling. Could these symptoms be caused by the medications, and what should I do in the meantime before my vet appointment?

I have an 18-month-old blue nose pitbull who is white and scratches all the time. I took her to the vet, and they gave me shampoo and pills, which worked for two weeks, but now the scratching has returned. I need help because I love my dog, and she is losing hair on her tail.

I fed my 8-pound Chihuahua mix about 5 raisins, which I was told are toxic to dogs. I took him to the vet but couldn't afford the treatment. Is my dog going to die, and what should I do?

My 11-year-old mixed-breed dog has had severe heart failure for 3 years. She has been seen by a veterinary cardiologist and her Vetmedin dose has been increased to 2 5mg tablets 3 times per day. She weighs 38 lbs and has nausea, loss of appetite, and fluid buildup in her abdomen which is drained every 3 weeks or less. I'm concerned if her symptoms are due to the large Vetmedin dose. Can I decrease the dose gradually and see how she does?
