My 8-week-old Maltese Shih Tzu puppy, Neo, has been throwing up white foam since last night. He is not coughing before vomiting, his gums are pink and moist, and there is no pain or tenderness in his belly. He has not eaten anything unusual and is on Nutri-Stat vitamins and Bil-Jac dog food. What could be causing this and what should I do?

I put a deposit down on a 3-week-old yellow lab puppy that has kennel cough. Should I be concerned that she has kennel cough this young and will it cause respiratory problems later in life? The breeder claims that the puppies had their bordetella shots, which is why they contracted it.
