My 8-year-old bichon was groomed yesterday and since then, she seems to be in a lot of pain. She has no visible marks, but she won't go up or down stairs, hardly walks, whimpers, hasn't eaten, and is generally unresponsive. She cries out briefly when picked up from beneath, but I can't figure out what is hurting her. Her limbs and feet work fine. What could be causing her pain and what should I do?

What is the significance of meth-resist coagulase negative staph spp and enterococcus colonies found in a vaginal swab of my dog, and should they be treated? Additionally, how common are these pathogens in female dogs, and what are the signs of overt infection or disease in female dogs?

My dog, Zarah, a female Doberman weighing 57 lbs, had severe diarrhea last night. She is lethargic, has taken some water, and hasn't had diarrhea since 1:30 am. I gave her 4mg of loperamide at 3am. Should I observe her today or take her to the vet?

I applied Pet Action Plus on my 3 dogs two weeks ago, and they are scratching more than before due to flea infestation. Is it safe to reapply the flea drops now or should I wait a month? Can I use Capstar to kill the fleas on them after applying the flea drops?

Two dogs I am looking after have been given metacam, but I noticed on the box that the dose should be given tomorrow. Should I be worried about this or will they be OK?

I know many people who give their dogs garlic and the animals are fine. As for chemicals, what do you recommend? The vet thought Trifexis was too harsh. We tried Revolution. She's bathed once a week. I check her for fleas daily.
