My 8-year-old border collie mix has pituitary-based Cushing's Disease, diagnosed in January. She is on 10mg of Vetoryl (trilostane) which is controlling the disease, but she throws up after taking the medicine. I started giving the capsule to her half an hour after eating in the morning, which seemed to work for a while. However, yesterday she ate a lot of grass and threw up an hour later. I think the medicine hurts her stomach. What can I do to relieve her stomach pain while ensuring she continues to take the medication?
