My 8-year-old husky mix, Scrappy, yelped after getting off the couch and now yelps every time he tries to get up on a bed, couch, or go up stairs. He shows no signs of pain when laying down, sitting, walking, or when we press on him. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My 10-year-old male Beagle shoved his head between my legs when I had the kitchen sink cabinet opened and was near a rat poison tray under the sink. I quickly grabbed his head and pulled him out of the cabinet and I didn’t hear him chewing anything and I don’t think he ingested anything but I’m not 100% sure. Has the Beagle vomited since he had the rat poison? Is there anything else the Vet should know?
