I have a 4-month-old dachshund named Maverick who had his anal glands expressed manually at the vet today. After returning home, he experienced severe diarrhea and excessive salivation, which is not normal for him. His stools have been looser than usual, and he was scooting and licking his bottom before the vet visit. What could be causing these symptoms, and what can I do to help him?
