My 8-year-old unspayed female Golden Retriever has hardened mammary glands on her left side, feeling like a broomstick running down her abdomen from the first teat to past her last teat. She has no discharge or pain, and her teats are not swollen or hot. She is eating and drinking normally, but gets very tired after a 5-minute walk. What could be the cause of this hardening, and what should I do?

My dog just vomited twice in 10 minutes after eating a lot of grass during a walk. She seems tired and not well. Does she need to be checked out?
