He was treated for worms, given a shot of cerenia, and prescribed fortiflora, ondansetron, cisapride, and a special diet. Bloodwork and X-rays were clear, and he shows no signs of pain or illness. My dogs got into a pack of batteries. They chewed through the package, and it looks like 2 batteries might have small puncture holes. One dog weighs 42 lbs and is 8 years old (Herbie), and the other weighs 46 lbs and is 7 years old (Starsky). They ate about an hour ago and are drinking water. What should I do?

My senior female dog has bladder cancer, her back legs have stopped working suddenly, and she seems to be in pain. She had a rabies shot about 30 hours ago with no initial reaction. What should I do to manage her pain and ensure she can pass away at home comfortably?
