Our female German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP) went into heat, started bleeding on June 11th, and after about a week, she swelled up. We assumed she would soon be done, but on July 5th, she started bleeding again. This coming Monday will be 4 weeks. Is this normal, and should we take her to a local vet? Additionally, she has been coughing a little for a couple of weeks, which we think she got from the sick dog next door.
