My 9-year-old female mixed breed has been diagnosed with diabetes. We noticed weight loss, increased thirst, etc., but only recently became alarmed. I'm not sure I can manage insulin shots. Are there other treatment options available that could give her some more time without causing her to suffer?

My 15-year-old mixed breed dog, weighing about 10 pounds, is experiencing spasms that cause her tail to go sideways, barking, whining, and discomfort. I'm unable to afford a vet visit and am concerned she might die. What can I do to make her more comfortable?

My daughter was walking her dog when he chased a cat, sat down, and was unable to place any weight on his hind leg. The dog is being treated for either lupus or encephalitis and has undergone chemotherapy. He is currently on medications including prednisone and herbs, and is being seen by a specialist at the University of Florida. I wonder if he pulled his leg out of joint. How should we proceed?

I have 8 ESS puppies that are 3.5 weeks old and have not started weaning yet. They have not pooped for 3 days but are peeing normally. The mother did not clean up after them as I have been carefully monitoring the situation.

Is there any way to stop my senior dog from marking a doorway? He is great otherwise. I have heard there is a spray I can use to stop this. Thanks.

My dog has sores on his neck that start as little black spots and then grow to the size of a quarter before peeling off. I don't think it's ringworm. What could it be?
