My 9-year-old French bulldog/Boston terrier mix started having seizures. Today, at the vet, he was sedated to stop clustering, and we brought him home after recovery. We were given phenobarbital tablets labeled as 1/2 gram, but he should be taking 25 mg tablets since he weighs 23-25 lbs. We gave him one tablet, and now he can't walk and has gone from hyper to unable to stand on his own. Should we take him to the ER?

The label likely indicates 1/2 grain, not gram, which is approximately 32.5 mg, well within the norm...

My dog, Lexi, a Lab around 8-9 years old and weighing about 100 lbs, has been vomiting once a day for the last month. She seems to be eating normally and is always hungry, but she doesn't show any other symptoms like pain or excessive tiredness. She isn't eating grass, and I don't leave food out or overfeed her. We have a nine-year-old Yorkie named Dani. For the last 36 hours, she won’t eat or drink water, has been vomiting, and has diarrhea with a little blood in it. She also seems more tired than usual and makes a moaning noise if picked up. Dani is currently taking Apoquel and has recently started traveling. We are in Lufkin, Texas, at a La Quinta pet-friendly hotel. Could Dani have eaten anything unusual, and when did she last have bloodwork done?
