My 9-year-old GWP (German Wirehaired Pointer) named Ruby was fine before a bird hunt but has been listless, retched twice, and has a high temperature of 104.9°F since then. She has been drinking a lot of water and eating snow, but is lethargic and her appetite is reduced. She may have briefly picked up a grouse carcass but did not ingest it. My dog, Karma, has thrown up three times over the course of about 9 hours, with the last time being yellow bile and some boiled chicken. She’s shaking a little, not interested in food, and moving her bowels and drinking still. The vomit looks liquidy and foamy, with some food in it. She recently had pepperoni and eggs, which she’s not supposed to have. She’s 8 years old and was recently treated for hyperlipidemia about a month ago. What could be causing this and what should I do?
