My American Akita puppy, Pablo, is 9 weeks old and weighs about 20 lbs. He ate half a piece of prosciutto, and it's the first day we've had him home. He has been a little anxious and his breathing rate has been quite high since we got him home. Is this normal due to anxiety? Also, my friend is planning to look after Pablo on Friday, and he has a rescue dog who is 2 years old. The friend is not 100% sure of the vaccination records for his dog, but he's pretty sure his dog had his puppy vaccines but has not had a booster. Pablo has had his first vaccine already and is having his second on Friday. Is it wise for my friend to come puppy sit Pablo, even though his dog is in good health, due to the potential for viruses to be spread on clothes/shoes etc?

My dog, Leia, a pit lab mix, has been experiencing an ear infection for about 2 days. She is scratching and shaking her head, causing her right ear to become almost bald and raw. This is not the first time she has had an ear infection, as it happened about 6 months ago but seemed to clear up. What should I do, and is there anything else the vet should know?

I have an 11-year-old Pomeranian named Princess who has been experiencing a croupy cough and coughing up clear foam, accompanied by a goose-like breathing sound. She has been a compulsive chewer and has had a slight cough off and on for about 6 months. Recently, she has been coughing more severely, especially when active or in hot weather. She has been eating and drinking normally in between these coughing fits. What could be causing this and what should I do?
