My Cavalier King Charles, Bentley, who is on a home-cooked diet, ate about a cup of kibble, drank a lot of water and snow, and is now sleeping a lot but rapidly breathing and panting. He has a grade 1 heart murmur and is deaf. He had many hemorrhagic gastroenteritis episodes when he was younger. He is not vomiting or having diarrhea, but he is lethargic and not interested in going out. Could this be just from eating snow, or is it something more serious?

My dog, a 9-year-old teacup Yorkie, was recently diagnosed with diabetes. She suddenly became unable to stand, was panting heavily, had labored breathing, and threw up water. She also felt extremely hot and had a rectal temperature of 106.7°F. What should I do to help her, and is there anything I can do to bring her temperature down if I can't afford an emergency vet?

My dog chewed up my headphone charger wire and I’m not sure if he swallowed some of it. He's about 60 lbs, 1.5 years old, and about 10-15 minutes have passed since he chewed it. He hasn't vomited and is acting normal. What should I do?

My 10-year-old Maltipoo, Gigi, suddenly started twitching and losing balance in her back legs. She also had a startle response when my hand was near her, which she has never done before. My boyfriend mentioned she might have eaten a small piece of a cookie with Xylitol. Is this an emergency, and what could be causing these symptoms?
