My dachshund was diagnosed with Cushing's Disease and has been on Vetoryl for about a month. She was doing well until she vomited twice and became lethargic. No diarrhea and she still has an appetite. She has been drinking more water than usual since starting the meds. Is there something I can do in the meantime? Can I give her the meds every other day?

My Weimaraner has moved from a cooler climate to a hot climate in Nicaragua and now has dry skin. He eats a home-cooked diet of rice, carrots, chicken, and assorted vegetables. Could the dry skin be due to the rice, the hot weather, or is there another cause?

I have a six-week-old miniature Dachshund puppy who is having trouble using her back legs. Sometimes she gets it, but mostly she does the "splits" and pulls herself with her front legs. She doesn't seem to be in any pain and does everything else like her siblings. She is the runt of the litter and very small, weighing about four ounces, less than half the size of the rest of the litter, and has developed very slowly compared to them. What might be causing this and is there anything we can do to help her?
