My almost 5-year-old lab has been vomiting after eating for the past two days. He shows no other signs of illness, drinks water fine, and is not lethargic. I've tried feeding him smaller portions but the issue persists. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My dog keeps vomiting dry heaves, like he's trying to clear something out of his throat. Could there be an obstruction? When he barks or I pull on his collar, he starts writhing again. Now he just starts writhing without barking or pressure on his collar.
