My Doberman, Hudson, keeps squatting to poop but only produces a dribble or nothing at all. This has been ongoing for 5 weeks, despite consulting vets who haven't identified the cause. He had a diarrhea episode over a week ago but is now eating normally again. What could be causing this issue and what can I do to help him?

My dog, Jasper, choked on bread and I was able to clear his throat, but he is now lethargic and sleeping. He was recently diagnosed with kidney disease and has had some diarrhea. What should I do to ensure he is okay and should I take him to the vet?

My 10-month-old Dachshund, Racecar, was neutered five days ago and hasn't eaten or drank anything since. He seems more tired than usual, has had vomiting, and is now more drowsy despite being given a nausea injection, antibiotics, and fluids under the skin. He was also given an over-the-counter nausea medication (Dramamine) and offered a bland diet of boiled chicken and rice, but he still shows no interest in eating. What could be wrong with him, and what should I do?

My dog, Georgia, a 1-year-old weighing 17 lbs, ate 4 or 5 pieces of Trident gum containing xylitol within the last hour. The vets in my area are not accepting pets at the moment. What should I do to ensure Georgia's safety?

My 5-month-old Chihuahua, Molly, has had two episodes where she shakes, stiffens up, becomes very sleepy, seems frightened or can't see properly, but the next day she is fine. She didn't eat lunch or tea during the episode but was back to normal the next morning. I suspect she might have eaten something unusual, as I usually supervise her and she spends most of the day inside. When I took her to the vet, they suggested a neck injury and wanted to send her away for a $3000 scan, but she was fine the next day. Can they have over-sensitive stomachs?
