My dog, a 11-year-old, 14 kg male chocolate Labrador, has been diagnosed with kidney disease based on blood and urine tests. The blood test results show elevated creatinine levels (1.7, normal range 0.3-1.4). The urine test shows elevated protein/creatinine ratio and creatinine levels. Can you determine the stage of my dog's kidney disease and his life expectancy? Additionally, what special diet or medication do you recommend?

I have 2 Yorkies, one of them may have a UTI, as I saw spots of blood on their piddle pad. When did you notice there was blood in the dog's urine? Has there been an unusual smell too? Does the dog seem more tired than usual? What's the dog's name and age? Is there anything else the Vet should know before I connect you?
