I just noticed a tick on my puppy. I removed it with tweezers and noticed the head was still attached and believe I was able to remove most of that as well. She is vaccinated against Lyme disease and just received her tick prevention today. Are there any other steps I should take?

My 13-year-old dachshund, Dash, has been experiencing stomach pain, a hard stomach, and difficulty eating for about 2 weeks. He has also had difficulty with bowel movements. I added boiled rice, egg, and raw meat to his diet to encourage eating. What could be causing his discomfort, and is there anything I can do to ease his discomfort until I take him to the vet?

She ate yesterday but hasn't eaten since and has had water 4 hours ago. She hasn't vomited. We've been traveling by car for 3 days, and she had a grooming session a few days ago.
