My dog, a 5-year-old Chiweenie named Flower Monkey, has been experiencing frequent and severe grand mal seizures, leading to lethargy, rapid breathing, and unequal pupils. She is currently in a critical condition with apparent pulmonary edema. What should we do, and what should we tell the local vet to do?

My dog ate a good portion of a silk plant overnight and threw up non-digested food. She seemed to have some difficulty swallowing this morning but has since had normal bowel movements and urination. She doesn't seem to have stomach pain or a distended abdomen. What should I be aware of and what should I do?

My 3-month-old Australian Shepherd has a shorter right front leg due to a dislocated shoulder joint and a chip fracture of the glenoid tubercle on the right scapula. The injury appears old and is not painful. Should I wait until growth ends to correct the issue, or have surgery before maturation?

My dachshund ate a 25 mg hydrochlorothiazide tablet, a blood pressure medication, about 45 minutes ago. I induced vomiting with peroxide, and he vomited twice. He seems fine, but I can't get him to the vet because I'm at work. Will he be okay? He weighs about 20 lbs, and his name is Lord Franks Von Red, and he's a year and a half old.

My dog, RaDar, a 7-year-old intact Welsh Corgi, has a rectal hernia and is having difficulty passing stools. I am currently giving him wet food mixed with pumpkin, 2 ml of lactulose, and 1/2 tsp of Miralax three times a day. I cannot afford surgery yet. What can I do to help him get his stools softer, and who would be the best vet in my area to perform the surgery?
