My dog's eye is shut and he keeps itching. I put chamomile drops yesterday, but it got worse. What could be the issue and what should I do?

Our newly adopted 5-year-old dog started acting restless and confused, then had a series of seizures overnight. The only way to stop them was by giving him a muscle relaxant, but when the effect wore off, he was confused and bumping into things. We suspect it might be due to a bedbug/flea killer with active ingredients prallethrin and gamma cyhalothrin. Is this possible?
