My dog, a little Chow Wawa, is crying and won't walk, instead he scampers and puts his butt down while chewing at his paws as if he wants to chew them off. He is constipated due to my daughter feeding him par-cooked 7-grain rice. His paws seem to bother him, and he hasn't had a bowel movement in about 4 days. Is this behavior related to constipation, or could it be something else?

I have a 6-month-old Shih Tzu who is a picky eater. I have tried both wet and dry food of various types, but she loves dried chicken strips. Should I change her food to chicken and rice, which is people food?

My 10-year-old dog suddenly started bleeding from the rectum. Is this the first time you have seen blood? Did he strain to defecate first, and then the blood came? Was it bright red blood? Is he neutered?

My dog, Micky, has been showing signs of hunched hindquarters and elevated breathing since today. He yelped in pain when moved but is generally laying down. He hasn't urinated, isn't drinking, and has reduced his hunched posture somewhat. He has jumped from the bed to the floor before and went into pain, but we haven't noticed this in the last 24 hours. He seems slightly better in attitude, but I'm not sure about diarrhea. Is he able to walk around without apparent dragging of feet or limping?
