My dog, a Pekingese, has started to lose weight to the point where I can feel his hip bone. He eats normally but is a bit picky at times. He is very active and drinks a normal amount of water. He has also vomited yellow foamy bile once or twice. Should I be concerned, and is there anything else the veterinarian should know?

My 4-year-old Havanese female has had runny, dark brown stool for about a week, was lethargic for two days but rallied with a good appetite and normal behavior, changed her diet to rice and ground beef, but now she is vomiting bile and undigested rice, and has blood in her stool. My 2 miniature Dachshunds may have eaten a very small amount of rat poison called chlorophacinone. One weighs 20 lbs and the other approximately 12 lbs, both are middle-aged. I gave them a bowl of milk to counteract the poison. Will they be okay?

My dog ate a box of chocolates and has vomited about 15 times. He is drinking a lot of water. We are watching him closely. I am sure the fact that he is purging it from his system and keeping well hydrated is the right thing. We don't live close to any 24-hour emergency vets but ironically he has a vet appointment tomorrow morning. What should I do?
