Our dog, Teddy, a 2-year-old, may have eaten about 4 coin-sized pieces of milk chocolate approximately 45 minutes ago. We tried to induce vomiting with a tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide diluted with water, but he only threw up a little liquid. We're unsure of how to proceed and need advice on whether further action is necessary.

I have a 12-year-old Shih Tzu named Buddy. He woke up with shakes or shivers and appears to be having difficulty breathing. I have not noticed any coughing, limping, or drooling. He may have come into contact with a dead animal near our property. What could be causing his symptoms and what should I do?
