My 2-year-old female rescued Maltipoo has found blood on the rug and is bleeding from the rectum. Her gums are deep pink, and she has some bleeding around her teeth, which need cleaning. She is eating normally, has normal stool, and is up to date on shots. What could be causing the rectal bleeding, and what should I do in the meantime until she can see her vet?
