My son's dog and my dogs are experiencing severe itching and chewing, likely due to bug bites, despite being on flea/tick preventives and receiving medication for allergies. We have tried various treatments, including Apoquel, antihistamines, and different shampoos, but the symptoms persist. We recently moved from PA to SC, and the dogs showed improvement when taken back to PA. What additional measures can we take to prevent bug bites and alleviate the itching, especially since Apoquel may not always be effective long-term?

My dog, Bruce, a 4-year-old, started vomiting after his usual dinner of Origin kibble. He has since thrown up four times, is eating a lot of grass, and drinking a lot of water, all of which he keeps throwing up. He had his usual monthly dose of Simparica yesterday and likes to catch and eat bugs. He also takes glucosamine chondroitin daily and licked my almond milk granola bowl today. What should I do?
