My dog ate a raisin. Is that dangerous? The dog is 23.5 lbs, 7 years old, and ate only one brown raisin a few minutes ago. She has not vomited and had some dog food and treats within 3 hours prior to eating the raisin. Should I monitor her for any signs of nausea or vomiting, and if so, should I give her an over-the-counter antacid like Pepcid AC or Prilosec?

My Pomeranian has anal gland issues, perivulvar dermatitis with ulceration, and is excessively licking the area, causing raw skin. The vet prescribed cleaning wipes and cream, and allowed the use of Benadryl for itching. What is the appropriate dosage of Benadryl for a 7-year-old, 7-pound dog, and are there any immediate steps I can take to manage her discomfort until I can take her back to the vet?
