I fed my 100 lb Newfoundland-Poodle mix a small bite of raisin bread ten minutes ago. She seems fine but the bite may have had one or two raisins in it. Do I need to bring her to the vet?

My dog, Dre, a 10-11 year old weighing 19.5 lbs, has a deep hacking cough that comes and goes, about 3 times per hour, and sometimes sounds like dry heaving. His breathing is normal, and he is eating well. I've been giving him 0.25 mg of Benadryl, but it doesn't seem to help. What could be causing the cough, and what can I do to help him?
