I have an American Hairless Terrier who is throwing up, shaking before vomiting, not eating, and seems to have a slight fever. He is drinking water but has thrown up after being given Aleve Gel Cap and plain yogurt. Should I take him to the vet or wait to see if this passes?

I have an 11-year-old boxer dog who has been scratching a lot and biting occasionally for about 3 weeks. I have tried using anti-parasitic/sarcoptic shampoo and Frontline Plus, but neither has provided relief. I am noticing numerous bite-like bumps on his back and sides, but he has not lost any hair and I do not see any signs of mange. What could be causing this, and what should I do to help him?
