Our 12-year-old Yorkie, Freddie, is constipated and in severe discomfort. He has heart failure and is on a lot of medication. He has been trying to go but can't due to his arthritis, and he looks bloated with a hard tummy. He hasn't eaten or drunk since 1:00 AM. What can I give him to help with his constipation?

My brother-in-law's female dog has a UTI. We are in a rural area and cannot get to the vet until after Christmas. Is there anything I can give her? I have nitrofurantoin mono/Mac and doxycycline 100mg capsules on hand, but I'm not sure if they are safe for dogs.

My 6-year-old pug, who weighs about 20 pounds, ate 3-4oz of candy cane milk chocolate mini eggs this morning. He was initially acting okay but has thrown up four times in the last hour and has been drinking a lot of water. What should I do?

My 3-month-old Doberman Pinscher puppy, Kali, has been experiencing nasal congestion and mucus coming out of her nose for the last 3 or 4 days. She has been eating and drinking normally, but she has been licking and scratching her skin. She also has a slight cough and is doing a lot of sniffling. What can I do to help her?

My Shih Tzu ate a cooked spare rib bone. She seems fine, no coughing or choking, but I'm worried. Do I need to do anything?
