My 12-year-old Maltese Pomeranian, Millie, is shaking and has a sensitive abdominal area. She has a history of colitis and irregular pooping due to winter weather. She yelped when picked up by my boyfriend, who is not used to handling small dogs, but otherwise seems to walk and lay down fine. She hasn't pooped today and hasn't eaten since last night, though she showed interest in food at the vet's office. What could be causing her symptoms and what should I do?
