My dog, Bear, a 15-month-old Golden Doodle weighing 80 pounds, was exposed to kennel cough two days ago and now has a dry hacking cough, runny nose, and thick foamy phlegm (clear or white). He is eating about 3/4 of his normal amount and does not seem to have trouble breathing, but he has a slight fever. What should I do to help him?

My dog, Walter, a 1-year-7-month-old, has been experiencing severe vomiting and diarrhea for the past 24 hours. The vomit started as undigested food but has since turned into foul-smelling, clear liquid. He has had 7-10 episodes of vomiting and 2 episodes of clear/light brown liquid diarrhea. Walter is more lethargic but still responsive, and he cannot tolerate drinking water without vomiting. His gums are slightly tacky but still pink, and his nose is not as wet as normal but moist when active. I administered 400ml of 0.9% NS subcutaneously to help mitigate dehydration. What else can be done to help Walter?
