We have a 7-month-old Weimaraner named Dieter. His stool has been like soft-serve or pancake batter all his life, which doesn’t seem normal. He was eating Fromms Puppy food but has been switched to Purina One adult food for lower fat content to improve stool firmness. Does this sound normal, and do you have any advice?

My dog is having clear watery diarrhea and is throwing up a lot of clear watery stuff and doesn't want to eat. Should I be really worried? She got sick after going to the dog park and we don't have the money to take her to the emergency vet. Will she be okay until we can take her to our regular vet?

My dog is on phenobarbital for seizures, getting 1 1/2 tabs every 12 hours. The pharmacy made an error, and I only have enough pills to last until Sunday morning. This means he will miss his Sunday evening dose and get his Monday morning dose 2 hours late. Should I try to split the remaining pills or wait until I can get a refill from the vet on Monday morning?

I have a rescued Wheaten Terrier named Teddy, estimated to be 10 years old. He was found starving and initially accepted good quality dry and canned dog food, but now refuses both. He sometimes eats boiled chicken breasts. Teddy is currently taking antibiotics for gingivitis, but the food issues started before this treatment. What advice can you provide?
